Builders' Risk Insurance protects the contractor’s, developer's or homeowner's interest for buildings under construction, covering* the value of the property being constructed, materials in transit intended for the job, and materials at the job site before they are installed. A policy may be written to cover the entire structure or the value of remodeling or renovation projects.
